In this guide, I’ll be sharing my experience about various things that come up when you are using Sony Wh-1000xm4 Headphones. BTW, they are really great headphones.
I’ll be discussing how to put Sony Wh-1000xm4 in pairing mode, step by step guide for clearing the pairing list, steps to pair a new device.
How to Put Sony WH-1000xm4 in Pairing Mode
So let’s get started. You’re probably here to read a pairing guide for the Sony WH 1000xm4. It is not rocket science to pair Sony WH 1000xm4.
When you turn on your headphones, they will be in pairing mode by default. The problem arises when you have too many devices connected to your headphones. It becomes a nightmare to connect your headphones to your mobile or laptop.
How to Clear Pairing List in Sony HeadPhones
Sometimes what happens is that, when you have too many devices connected to your sony headphones, as you turn them on they immediately pair to a nearby device. However, you won’t want to connect with that device.
When you have too many devices connected to your Headsets you’ll face Pairing Problems as you have tons of devices paired to your headphones.
To fix this, just press the power button for 7 seconds and it’ll reset the pairing list and now you won’t face this problem again.
How to Pair New Device
Pairing a new device to your Sony Headsets is way more simple than you think it is. Trust me, I’m about to share a list of instructions that will result in a successful pairing of your sony headset with your desired device.

Paired But No Sound
Another critical issue to be discussed. This turns out to be a very mysterious issue. What happens is that as you power on your headphones, they get connected to your laptop via Bluetooth. However, when you play audio, you won’t hear anything.
Why is that? That is because of the Security Protocols of your Operating System (mostly in MacOS and Linux Distros). Due to security reasons, audio protocol won’t start immediately. You have to Turn your Bluetooth Off and Turn it On again, this time, it’ll work.
No Headphones can’t beat Sony Headphones ever. I’ve been a life-long user of Sony Headphones. Over the last 5 years, I’ve used PowerBeats Pro, Skullcandy Crusher, Bose Headphones and my personally favourite Sony Wh-1000xm4.
I can say without any hesitation, that no headphones come close to Sony Headsets. Sony always holds No.1 Position in terms of Experience as the best headphones out there due to their Reliable Sound Quality.
